Apply First Aid

  • This course is conducted to provide Candidates with the skills and knowledge to perform First Aid and/or Resuscitation in an emergency situation
  • Competencies
    • HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR
    • HLTFA201A - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
    • HLTFA301B - Apply First Aid
  • The Award is valid for three years from the date of attainment and the Resuscitation component (HLTCPR201A) is to be renewed annually
  • The Apply First Aid Course Update (refresher) is approximately 6-8 hours duration
  • Assessment is competency based
