Advanced Resuscitation (O2)

  • The duration of the course will depend on the Candidates current competencies
  • A Senior First Aid or Apply First Aid accreditation is a preferred pre-requisite, however Candidates may attend the Training and sit the Assessment with a minimum of a current CPR Certificate.
  • The Advanced Resuscitation Certificate comprises both the "Apply Oxygen in an Emergency Situation (PUAEME002A)" and "Operate an Automatic Defibrillator in an Emergency Situation (PUAOPE010A)" criteria. Both qualifications can be delivered separately, or combined, and individual Certificates issued. The HLTFA404A Apply Resuscitation Techniques is the combination Oxygen Resuscitation and Defibrillation.
  • An annual update is required for the award to remain current
  • Assessment is competency based
